Now that we've got that out of the way, I wanted to talk a little bit about Ms. Smitty, or Smitta as she goes by now. I've really enjoyed developing this character. I wanted to retain the mercurial nature of Smitty in her and for a while I wondered if I hadn't given her a solid enough foundation to do so. Now I feel like her character is really grounded, which is ironic considering I had to shatter her to do so. She has a big future ahead of her and she is one of the few characters I honestly don't know which direction I will take her next.
I just hope that in these last few caps, I've interested you in finding out with me. So away we go...
I think out of all the caitlyn story's you have done in the smitty universe, this was my favorite. I really enjoyed the other times she was brought in and they were all very sexy and just great story's, but this one was something special.
ReplyDeleteI liked how you played on the new smitta personality, she's too scared to stand up to smitty and even though she hates that caitlyn despises and pity's her, she wouldn't want to see anything truly evil happen to her. Which, I guess this option was the least of all evils, but incredibly cowardice and selfish on her part.
And your use of the pleasure and the pain in this cap, I think it was crystal clear in their use for control and mind melting elements to get caitlyn to feel like her smitta wanted her too. But seeing caitlyn still try and fight it makes me week in my knee's!
And the layout, wow.. It looks simple, but it just amazing. It really helps the story and i couldn't picture anything else for it. from the text boxes to the way you used to pictures, it had a cinematic feel to it. I can't wait to see how this all unfolds!

ReplyDeleteI never thought I would read a story about love unrealized and love lost in a bondage setting involving magical pain/pleasure swapping nannites.... but I guess I just wasn't thinking hard enough.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant story. I honestly was a little sad for Smitta in the end, and found myself cursing 'Caitlyn' for being such a bitch.
And beyond the story, you did a great job on the layout. The text was placed just perfectly and didn't get in the way of the images. In fact they helped emphasize what you were showing in each image.

I'm glad you all liked it, this is my favorite Caitlyn in the Smittyverse cap too. And I'm glad to see I was able to make Smitta a sympathetic character, because she has the potential for good or evil and plenty of it. She's one of those characters that even I don't know what she's gonna do next.
