Love the series! I don't think 'epic' is a big enough word for this. It wraps up so much, and opens the door for so much more.
I really love the design cues you used here. The first 7 panels felt a little 'off' in their simple layout, but it make sense as its a dream. Then the design you used in the last 9 panels... wow. Very NICE!
Thanks, Cait, I knew starting the cap with simple layouts would be a surprise seeing as it's the climax and all, but I knew it would make the rest of the series' layouts really pop.
Loved how this all wrapped up in the end! all comes full circle while still moving the story ahead!
First, the lay out's were great! And you have taking a few things I've done and really made them sing here! loved the cracking display of the page, it really looked very nice.
I love the dream world here! But I think you know how much I love the dream motif's and theme's. So much can be learned in dreams, and explored, and just out right lie about. it's a place, that's based in you, or someone Else's or even a collective unconscious, that can't be tamed, only played with. Very exciting, and to see the technologist use it against him and also help to undo so much Smitty has done to corrupt them puts a big smile on my face. You can learn magic, you can learn to use high tech sci-fi items, but you really can't fully control a dream forever. So seeing him get his ass handed to him by all the girls he threw into the void or dream worlds is awesome!
