Sleep with one eye open (SvE pt3)
Another dreamy series in the Smitty vs Everyone saga. This one was a ton of fun to write, I love playing off the multiple antagonists in a gangbang cap. It allows for great opportunities for comedy as well as the squirm factor of being treated like a piece of meat as guys talk about you as if you weren't even there.

DeleteOf course, Richard Ricos will be an exception in that he uses inner monologues as a tactic of staying sane in the dream world.

DeleteCurses, foiled again. Richard Ricos is exactly the sort I like to see lose in games of exactly these kind of stakes. I like to rationalize that by thinking it's because they always win in mainstream entertainment, but maybe I'm just dark and twisted.
ReplyDeleteEither way it was exciting seeing them rewrite Rich's history but I knew something was up when I looked at all the panels on the blog page and the word balloons weren't turning pink.
Obviously hapless thugs aren't going to defeat Rich so I can't wait to see what happens when he has a REAL nightmare.
Glad to hear it. This was exactly the kind of response I wanted to bring out in the reader. Richard is supposed to be the kind of guy that you take sides on. He's the closest character I've have to an action hero in a long time and one of the few that is not at all confused about his gender. Normally I leave some ambiguity in there, but I don't think that comes across with Richard, even when they are trying to convince him otherwise.
DeleteI'm trying for different characters all with strong, distinct personalities in each part, and hopefully I'll be able to keep it up for each one's little trilogy.
